Day Zero: Catalyst Crew
March 15, 2396, known as "Day Zero," forever changed the Galactic Alliance. A dozen near-simultaneous terrorist attacks on twelve separate worlds triggered a non-linear interstellar conflict unlike anything seen before in the known galaxy. The war lasted three years, ending as abruptly as it began. Many questions were left unanswered, including the most important: What was the motivation behind the attacks? The "Day Zero" collection will answer that question, starting with "Catalyst Crew." To repay an old debt to a corrupt government agent, guns-for-hire Liam and Phillip Walls arrived on the Sivax-inhabited world of Hon'Sed for a job with a large payout but no details. The Walls Brothers soon find themselves among a large group of criminals, comprising assassins, thieves, digital infiltrators, and hired guns like themselves. The Mission: force their way into a secure corporate facility to abduct a pair of Sivax scientists who discovered a method to weaponize antimatter. When things go sideways, the Walls brothers fall back on their SPEC-Ops training and work together with total strangers to fight their way out—for the payout, for the mission, and their very survival.
