2021 is not at all how imagined by Philip Dick. I was born when he wrote it, and I read it in the same year when the action happens. we don't have androids, we don't have flying cars, we haven't had a nuclear war, we haven't colonized Mars. but yes we are getting close to all of that, even if in different ways. as usual, much more than the movie, and the missing part is more interesting than what has been kept on film.
