Sure, having the "know-how" does not ensure success, but it will help you expand your options. Then you'll win more than you'll lose, and the longer you play, the closer you'll be to victory. Not everyone achieves success to the same degree or in the same manner. Some individuals are more talented than others in business, like in other areas. We can't all be Tiger Woods, Pablo Picasso, or William Shakespeare, but we can all learn to play golf, draw, or compose poetry, and become financially independent.
