L’album contiene anche uno dei momenti più emozionanti di questa edizione del festival quando più di 60.000 fan cantano la superba cover di “Heroes” dei Motörhead in omaggio a Lemmy. Il contenuto del doppio DVD è stato catturato dall'esperto team ICS sotto la direzione di Kai Swillus, designer e forza creativa di lunga data del Wacken, la cui innata conoscenza della scena e la sua sensibilità ha assicurato che tutte le uscite discografiche sul Wacken siano stati dei successi.
