The Wall, uscito nel 1979, è uno dei più celebri concept album di tutti i tempi. Con quest' opera, la band affrontò temi complessi come abbandono e solitudine. Più tardi, il regista Alan Parker ne trasse un film di culto. La nuova Immersion Edition contiene:
- il doppio album originale rimasterizzato in digitale;
- un CD di demos realizzati durante le registrazioni;
- un secondo CD di demos;
- due CD contenenti la versione rimasterizzata di Is There Anybody Out There: The Wall Live;
- un DVD video contenente un clip promozionale di Another Brick In The Wall part 2, il documentario Behind the Wall, un'intervista a Gerald Scarfe, brevi estratti filmati da un concerto a Earls Court.
E ancora: un libro di 27cm x 27cm contenente illustrazioni di Storm Thorgerson, un libro fotografico, una stampa e cinque cartoline da collezione di Storm Thorgerson, replica del biglietto e Pass Backstage del The Wall tour, una sciarpa, tre biglie, stampe con disegni del palco di Mark Fisher, nove sottobicchieri e un booklet.
