The Book With Blank Pages
Jason is a 10-year-old city boy, full of imagination, who spends many afternoons alone while his parents work long hours. Near his home, there is a small, old bookshop. Mr. Zisis, the elderly owner, with his peculiar way of speaking and odd clothing, has become Jason's most unexpected friend. Every week, he lends Jason books that exist nowhere else—stories with heroes who change shape, words that slip off the pages, or tales that… only end when you feel them. One afternoon, Jason arrives at the bookshop and finds the door closed. Mr. Zisis is gone. Not on a trip. Gone forever. And no one in the neighborhood seems to have truly known him… But Jason begins to find notes, objects, and hidden clues inside the books Mr. Zisis had given him. Like a puzzle-game that Mr. Zisis had prepared just for him. And so begins a magical, inner journey, where Jason does not only grieve—but discovers the meaning of memory, acceptance, and continuity. Mr. Zisis's last book has blank pages… and it is up to Jason to fill them.
