“Most people go through their whole lives, without ever really feeling that close with anyone” I read this book in the summer without giving it the right importance perhaps. Now I reread it and completely changed my mind about him. It's a book that needs to be understood, in which you have to dive all the way, and I hadn't done it. Marianne and Connell struggle with an inability to communicate their needs and love for each other. it's a more common thing than we think, yet we're all a bit like them. They, especially marianne, do not believe they deserve a healthy love, just for them, like so many people. and instead the two of them find each other, leave and recover. they are two people who love each other, who can never get away, but who never find the right time for them. I like to think that they managed to make their relationship work, and that they managed to find their happiness, in their own small way. because yes, they were made for each other. Reading about them I cried, I got angry, I laughed, I was in suspense. I felt like I was living their story, and it's the most important thing in a good book. In conclusion, it is a book a bit heavy, a bit to understand. there are those who would say that it is not for everyone, but maybe you just have to find the right time.

storia d'amore stupenda, sopratutto da leggere in lingua originale. storia che farà pensare a quanto la comunicazione sia importante in una coppia ma anche tra amici con un finale secco.
