Si tratta della rimasterizzazione di un album che ha cambiato per sempre la storia del metal e della musica in generale.

Risulta, inoltre, incontrastato, l'album più venduto nella storia della Nielsen Soundscan, superando pubblicazione di ogni genere negli ultimi 30 anni.
