Eugene Marseille is one of a few Black men operating in Corporate Canada. Educated at Carleton University, he's now a rising executive at KPMG in Ottawa, Ontario. Feeling empty, Eugene returns to his hometown of Quartier Morin, Northern Haiti, after a 20-year absence. While there, he reconnects with his former mentor, Maitre Jean-Bernard Saintil, and his former crush Danica Seide, now a tall, sexy and successful realtor operating in Boston. 20 years ago, while attending College Notre Dame Du Perpetuel Secours, Eugene fell for Danica, then the tomboyish Queen Bee of nearby Sisters Saint Joseph De Cluny. Reunited in their quaint hometown, sparks fly between Danica and Eugene. A passionate romance ensues. Still, time waits for no one. Can these two not-quite strangers make a relationship work ?
