Humans, Not Property
Part I, "The Foundation Was Theft," is the opening prosecution. It shows that what we've been taught as the neutral "birth of Western civilization" is actually a record of uncredited Black genius and systematic erasure. Across seven chapters, Part I walks the reader from the stolen alphabet to the stolen pyramids, and then into the legal invention of "whiteness" as property and membership card. It traces how race was built in law, not biology; how whiteness expanded over time to absorb Irish, Italians, Jews, and some immigrants as buffers; and how color itself was priced into bodies, neighborhoods, courts, and labor. This is not abstract theory. It is receipts: Herodotus naming Black Egyptians, Napoleonic looting, slave codes, naturalization laws, redlining maps, sentencing disparities, and GI Bill exclusions. By the end of Part I, the reader understands that the categories, hierarchies, and "achievements" we were taught as natural are in fact engineered. The question is no longer whether the system is unfair, but how deep the theft runs—and what happens when you start following the money.
