Nathaniel Philbrick

Nato a Boston nel 1956, si è laureato alla Brown e alla Duke University. È ricercatore presso la Nantucket Historical Association e direttore dell’Egan Institute for Maritime Studies di Nantucket. È autore di vari saggi storici, tra cui Away Off Shore: Nantucket Island and Its People 1602-1890 (1994), e di libri sulla vela.
