Prophetisches Predigen als Sichtwechsel

Was ist prophetisches Predigen? Ist es das Reden einer charismatischen Ausnahmegestalt oder kann jede und jeder prophetisch predigen? Ist es autoritär oder hinterfragbar, bricht es Dialoge ab oder kann es sie sogar initiieren? Ist es situativ- und kulturell-bedingt, so dass wir es in säkularen Demokratien nicht finden (oder finden dürfen?), oder brauchen wir die prophetische Predigt gerade jetzt, um Kirche zu bleiben und zu werden? Christel Weber durchleuchtet das prophetische Predigen von allen Seiten: exegetisch, dogmatisch, homiletisch, aus der Sicht derer, die Predigten halten, und derer, die Predigten hören. Dafür nimmt sie die Lesenden auf eine Reise nach Südafrika, den USA und Deutschland mit. Sie erläutert, dass es der "Sichtwechsel" ist, der das Predigen prophetisch und solches Predigen heute notwendig macht. [Changing views. Is it authoritarian or can it be questioned, is it cutting off dialogue or can it initiate it instead? Is it a speech shaped by its certain moment in history or culture (so it will not be found in democratic societies or is not even wanted), or do we need prophetic preaching now to be or become the church? The author examines prophetic preaching from all angles: Exegetically, dogmatically, homiletically, from the perspective of those who preach and those who listen to the preaching. In order to do so she takes the readers on a journey to South Africa, the USA and Germany. She states that it is the ›changing of views‹ that makes the preaching prophetic and that makes such preaching necessary today.
