Arthur Quiller Couch

(Bodmin, Cornovaglia, 1863 - Fowey, Cornovaglia, 1944) scrittore inglese. Fu autore, sotto lo pseudonimo di «Q», di numerosi romanzi, spesso ambientati nella sua terra d’origine, stilisticamente vicini a Stevenson: La roccia dell’uomo morto (Dead man’s rock, 1887), La nave di stelle (The ship of stars, 1899), Storie del mistero (Mystery stories, 1937). Fu il curatore della celebre antologia lirica The Oxford book of English verse (1900), alla quale seguì, nel 1925, The Oxford book of English prose.
