Scrittore e musicista australiano. Ha pubblicato il suo primo romanzo, Rhubarb, nel 2004 a soli 22 anni. Nel 2005 vince il "Sidney Morning Herald" come miglior giovane romanziere. In Italia la casa editrice Giano ha pubblicato il romanzo Jasper Jones nel 2010.Cresciuto a Dwellingup nel sud-est del Western Australia, attualmente vive a Fremantle.
