Caring for Capuchin monkeys is a lifelong commitment that goes far beyond the appeal of their playful charm. I write this book from personal experience and in support of our local sanctuary in South Africa, as my passion for these intelligent and complex animals has grown over many years. The events, the stories, the re-homes, sadness and trauma got me to a point where I realize the need to get realistic information related to Capuchin as a pet out there, in the hope to prevent and or if nothing else reduce the trauma for both the monkeys and humans.
