As a homeless orphan, Gracie assumes the role of a Marvel-like heroine to survive on the streets of LA. After creating an imaginary life on an impoverished woodland farm where her Dad bakes bread with a sourdough starter God breathed into, she charges off to save her brother lost in a brutal snowstorm. All she possesses to guide her is a vial in the shape of a wolf fang filled with a blue as unpredictable as the sea and sky. Whatever abuse Gracie has endured from her grandfather, it protects her from the memories of those atrocities inflicted upon her. But with too much faith in the vial, Gracie becomes vulnerable. She is abducted by a sex slaver. At first, Gracie, drugged by the power of the Blue Goblin, submits to the brutality. She sustains her sanity by seeing her rapists as doors. They can be closed or painted. But always the fighter, Gracie escapes to return for revenge and redemption.
