Women Can't Paint: Gender, the Glass Ceiling and Values in Contemporary Art

In 2013 Georg Baselitz declared that ‘women don’t paint very well’. Whilst shocking, his comments reveal what Helen Gørrill argues is prolific discrimination in the artworld.
