Advances in Structural Engineering: Mechanics and Design

Advances in Structural Engineering comprises a collection of papers presented at the International Symposium on Advances in Structural Engineering Mechanics (ISASEM 2026) and the International Symposium on Advances in Structural Engineering Design (ISASED 2026). These symposia ran concurrently in Cape Town from 7 to 9 September 2026 These Proceedings combine papers that address (i) the latest advances in the mechanics of engineering materials and structures, and (ii) the latest advances in the design, manufacture, construction and maintenance of engineering structures. Advances in Structural Engineering will serve as a valuable resource not only for engineering academics and specialist practitioners in the civil, structural, mechanical, architectural, marine and aerospace engineering disciplines, but also for postgraduate students pursuing research and advanced studies in these disciplines.
