AI in Teams

The current wave of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has seemingly reached a tipping point where it is having a real and perceived impact on work and education. The societal impact of the development, use, and recovery from AI is growing, be it from the increase in energy required to create and maintain AIs, the psychological cost of creation, or bias being built into algorithms. In this exciting and dynamic time, AI in Teams engages various disciplines in a conversation of how AI is affecting teamwork, as a tool, as a teammate, or both. Leading scholars on AI and teams whose research has explicit implications for how we should grapple with AI for productive, satisfying, and ethical teamwork, provide chapters discussing the various aspects of this problem.
