Altitude Drift

A mysterious inheritance. A trail of buried clues. A conspiracy rising beneath the most spectacular sky in New Mexico. Ava Martinez travels to Albuquerque expecting to settle the estate of an uncle she never knew. Instead, Miguel Serrano leaves her land, a hidden mission, and a warning embedded in the records of his final years. As hundreds of balloons gather for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, Ava follows Miguel's clues from an isolated ranch to encrypted messages, concealed tunnels, and a criminal network exploiting trafficking routes across the desert. What appears to be a family legacy soon exposes corrupt alliances and rival factions fighting for control of a system built to move people, money, and secrets unseen. But Miguel's past is more complicated than Ava imagined, and completing his mission will force her to decide whom she can trust, what justice demands, and how much of his unfinished burden she is willing to inherit. When the mass ascension begins, beauty becomes camouflage and the sky itself becomes a battlefield. Altitude Drift: The Sky Remembers is an atmospheric New Mexico conspiracy thriller blending family secrets, organized crime, investigative suspense, and the unforgettable spectacle of the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Some inheritances come with money. This one comes with enemies.
