Basic Finnish

This introductory Finnish course spans five sessions, each carefully structured to guide beginners through the essentials of the language. You can gradually build your skills in understanding and pronouncing basic Finnish words for everyday use. Throughout the course you are exposed to and then asked to repeat Finnish sounds and pronunciation, ensuring that you grasp the foundational elements of the language. You can become familiar with Finnish pronunciation laying the groundwork for effective communication. As the course progresses, you delve into practical language use, learning common phrases for greetings, introductions, and social interactions. Subsequent sessions focus on navigating everyday situations, expanding vocabulary while remaining focused on vocabulary that you can easily put to use. You have ample opportunities to practice speaking and listening, gradually increasing their proficiency in the language as the course progresses. By the end of this basic Finnish language course participants emerge with a solid foundation in understanding and pronouncing basic Finnish words and phrases, empowering them to continue their language journey with confidence. The course will help towards achievement of A1 level communication skills in Finnish.
