Anna Williamson is at the top of her game. The most sought-after public-relations guru to country music’s biggest stars until it suddenly comes crashing down around her when she’s thrown under the bus by her former boss. Overnight, she becomes persona non grata and has no choice but to work for the one person she can’t stand—Jason. Every interaction between them is antagonistic. Anna loathes his mere existence and constantly finds ways to poke at him. And Jason dishes it out just as strongly. Always trading barbs with Anna to mask the pain he’s feeling. The heartache he has over losing the love of his life. Four years ago, Anna and Jason were on the verge of a once-in-a-lifetime love that would’ve stood the test of time until an unexpected call in the middle of the night, combined with baggage from the past, tore them apart. And not a single person in their inner circle knows about any of it. It’s time for the truth to come out about what Anna and Jason have been hiding for the past four years. Will these sworn enemies find their way back to one another, or are the years of fighting too much for them to overcome?
