Clash Between Worlds

Clash Between Worlds is the final book in a YA contemporary fantasy series told in the voice of a young man who grew up listening to his parents tell him all about a school, mysterious abilities known as valta, creatures of fairytales, and a gateway to another world. It's time to fight harder than ever before. Five years ago, Alric lost his best friend. Now he finds himself on the front lines of a war he wants no part in fighting. Whose side is he on? Even Alric doesn't know. What he does know is that something must change. When a grave injury takes him off the battlefield, he must make a decision—continue with Driscoll or join an underground alliance to take down Driscoll. The time has come for him to act. Teaming up with Esther, the two former classmates prepare a safe house for the resistance to gather. However, when Reiss shows up bleeding to death on their doorstep, their whole plan is turned upside down, leaving them no choice but to seek aid in Shield Alliance—a country that is hostile to everyone from Earth. But can they really save Earth and Arisha from the hands of a man who now holds the power to tear a hole in the fabric of their worlds?
