Coffee and Tea

Katrina has built her life around coffee, hard work, and staying in control. Her café is thriving, her future is carefully planned, and she has learned not to let anything—or anyone—interfere with the life she has created. Then Patricia walks through the door and orders tea. Patricia is everything Katrina isn't. She loves quiet mornings, books, peaceful walks, and taking her time. After a painful relationship taught her how easily love can make someone lose herself, Patricia is determined to protect the independence she fought to regain. Yet from their first conversation, something begins to grow between them. Coffee and tea shouldn't have much in common. Neither should Katrina and Patricia. One woman moves quickly while the other moves carefully. One finds comfort in busy cafés and ambitious plans while the other prefers quiet rooms and thoughtful conversations. But as their friendship becomes romance, they discover that love isn't about becoming alike. It's about making room for each other. When Katrina's ambition threatens to leave Patricia feeling forgotten, they must learn that love cannot survive on leftover time. When jealousy and old wounds return, they must decide whether trust is stronger than fear. And when the possibility of building a future together becomes real, both women must learn that sharing a life doesn't mean giving up who they are. Slowly, honestly, and sometimes imperfectly, Katrina and Patricia create something neither expected: a relationship where two very different women can remain completely themselves while choosing each other every day. From rainy mornings and quiet cups of tea to busy café afternoons and dreams of a shared future, their love proves that the perfect match doesn't have to be identical. Sometimes, love is simply finding someone willing to meet you at the same table.
