The Connection

‘The Connection’ is a sensitively executed story that swings smoothly and widely between happiness and despair, between the past, the present, and the future. A love story with a twist and one that sparkles with hope and charm.   It’s the summer of 2005, and a heatwave is gripping the town of Abervernon. Cheryl Williams is in her late twenties and feels that her life is unfulfilled and going nowhere.   Her connections to her family, her hometown, and her unreliable partner, Darren Owens, all play a part in prompting Cheryl to question where she is headed in life. The town is feeling the heat, and Cheryl feels as though she is suffocating too.
