Daniel’s Things

Fourteen months. Two closets. And one man who will carry anything she asks him to and never once asks her to hurry. Nora has been keeping Daniel's things the way you keep a light on in an empty room — not because she needs it, but because switching it off is a decision, and she has not been ready to make one. This is the week she makes it. Hal does not offer advice. He does not say the word closure. He carries boxes down a staircase he is far too big for, and he sits on the floor of a spare room with a woman going through her husband's shirts, and he stays. Some of it goes. Some of it stays. And by the end of the week Nora knows exactly which of those two she is. DANIEL'S THINGS is Book Four of SECOND WINTER, a complete five-part cozy monster romance. ?
