What if something could affect you without ever needing to be seen? The mission begins deep beneath the mountains of Petra with a mysterious signal unlike anything the team has recorded before. Seven scientists, each specializing in a different field, enter a remote cave system to investigate its source and determine its connection to sound, vibration, perception, memory, and the human sense of time. At first, it is a scientific expedition. Then something begins to change. Sounds become difficult to distinguish from silence. Ancient markings seem to carry patterns they cannot explain. Memories begin to lose their certainty. What one member remembers does not always match what the others remember, while the passage of time inside the cave seems increasingly disconnected from the world outside.
