The Elusive Invader

The Elusive Invader is set in a fictitious medieval world. Surrounded by oceans and deserts the people of Teyn know nothing of the world beyond their borders. Yet, as a dominant empire and an emerging cult strive for power, and an ancient enmity threatens the peace of all nations, Teyn is destined to be drawn into conflicts abroad. When King's Warrior Halmorn leads his army to repel an invasion, news of personal tragedy is intertwined with discoveries which threaten all Teyn. As Halmorn searches for answers figures emerge from the past who suggest he should look to the desert. Yet no-one as ever returned alive from the feared world of sand and legend. This story will take you through diverse landscapes and locations and encounters with people of many races, while its characters strive to understand and avert a conflict which threatens to engulf and destroy their culture.
