For Such a Time as Now

Do you sense that something is off in modern Christianity? For Such a Time as Now is a direct and timely call to believers who feel the drift-who see a culture marked by compromise, confusion, and comfort-driven faith, and know in their spirit that the Church was meant for more. Pastor, teacher, and recording artist Daryl Boyer refuses to offer another dose of feel-good religion. Instead, he sounds an alarm: it is time to wake up, not merely feel better. With clarity and conviction, Daryl confronts the compromise that has crept into everyday Christian life. He exposes "cultural Christianity"-a faith shaped more by the surrounding world than by the Word of God-and calls readers back to the biblical standard of discipleship. This is not a book of empty inspiration. It is a summons to holiness, obedience, and surrender; a challenge to trade comfort for conviction and drift for devotion. Through the pages of this book, believers and responsible leaders will learn to: Confront compromise with clarity, and hear the call to wake up-not just feel better Rediscover their identity in Christ as the foundation of a courageous, set-apart life Re-center their faith on holiness, obedience, and surrender, rather than comfort Stand firm in a culture that constantly pressures them to blend in Expose cultural Christianity and restore a biblical standard of discipleship Move beyond inspiration into accountability, action, and lasting transformation Grounded in Scripture (NLT) and written with pastoral weight and prophetic clarity, For Such a Time as Now moves through the fear of God, holiness, dying to self, false gods in modern disguise, and readiness for the last days-challenging you to examine your life honestly, walk in discernment, and remain rooted when everything around you is shifting. It is a call to courageous Christianity in a generation desperate for authentic, unshakable faith. For those unwilling to settle for a watered-down gospel, this book offers something rare: clarity in the confusion, conviction in the compromise, and a clear path forward rooted in surrender and faithfulness. The times are urgent. The call is clear. This is a moment for the faithful to rise-for such a time as now. About the Author: Daryl Boyer is a pastor, teacher, speaker, and Christian recording artist with a deep burden to see believers walk in truth, conviction, and wholehearted devotion to Christ. His ministry centers on identity in Christ, spiritual maturity, and living faithfully in a culture marked by compromise and comfort. Convinced that too many Christians have settled for a surface-level faith shaped more by the surrounding culture than by Scripture, Daryl calls the Church back to holiness, obedience, and discernment-and challenges believers and leaders alike to move beyond inspiration into accountability, action, and transformation. Through teaching, writing, speaking, and music, he equips God's people to stand firm when the culture pressures them to blend in, to examine their lives through the lens of Scripture, and to walk in surrender in every area of life. He shares this urgent message in his book For Such a Time as Now.
