John Birmingham

John Birmingham (1964) è un autore britannico-australiano, nato a Liverpool si è trasferito con la sua famiglia in Australia nel 1970. Nel 1994 scrive E morì con un felafel in mano, un romanzo autobiografico sulla sua pluriannuale esperienza di coabitazione. Il romanzo diventerà un film diretto da Richard Lowenstein distribuito in Italia da Fandango nel 2001. Nel 1997 scrive il sequel: The Tasmanian Babes Fiasco che viene portato in scena da 36 attori disoccupati diventando in breve tempo uno dei più grandi successi del teatro australiano.
