Green Innovation Protocols for Different Typologies of Ports: Technological Innovations, Sustainability Initiatives, and Energy Transition

Green innovations are an increasingly high priority in the European port and maritime supply chain industry and they are being pursued with four main targets in mind, clean energy production and supply, sustainable port design, modal shift and flows optimization and digital transformation. These innovations are being implemented to varying extents, with varying levels of success and in a wide variety of port typologies.
