Hexes and Harvests

Fall is in the air in this cozy, magical rom-com! When a big-city teen witch is forced to go live on a small-town farm, she finds that the most unpredictable magic of all might just be love. For seventeen-year-old Serena Scott, unpredictability is the enemy, particularly when it comes to her secret life as a magus-class witch in New York City. Ambitious and studious, Serena wields magic with the precise care of a chemist in hopes of getting accepted to the college of her dreams and keeping herself protected from the witch hunters who killed her father. But her plans are thrown into jeopardy when her magical capstone project blows up in her face—literally—and puts the magical community at risk. As punishment, she gets sent upstate to spend the fall with her estranged cousins, where she has to help with their enchanted flower farm, make deliveries to their much-too-cheery neighbors, and feed some seriously disturbed chickens. Worst of all? Serena is forced to work with slacker hedge witch Carter Baldwin—aka the guy she hasn’t spoken to since he majorly betrayed her trust a year ago—to keep the farm’s Flower Fest from becoming a total disaster. But it turns out the one thing this city girl didn’t predict is the spark growing between them . . .
