Hot Mess

Falling for him was never part of the plan. But maybe the best things in life are a little messy. Birdie Keller has built a career making life look perfect. The New York lifestyle influencer knows how to declutter a room, and turn chaos into something beautiful. Now she has the chance to turn her online brand into the business she’s always dreamed of—if she can win America’s hottest reality dating show. There’s just one problem: Cypress Briggs. A laid-back Northern California mechanic who’d rather wing it than follow a plan, Cy is everything Birdie would never choose. He’s also competing for a dream of his own: enough prize money to finally open his own auto shop. When their constant clashing puts them at risk of elimination, they strike a deal: stop fighting, start flirting, and give the cameras the love story they want. But somewhere between outrageous challenges, stolen moments, and kisses that linger a little too long, Birdie starts to wonder if the man she never would have chosen might be exactly what she needs. Suddenly, the line between fake and real gets a whole lot harder to see—and Birdie has to decide how much of her perfectly planned life she’s willing to risk for the one thing she never planned for.
