Karma the Vampire Cat

This audiobook is narrated by a digital voice. This children’s humorous chapter book aimed at the 6-10 age range introduces the world and adventures of Karma, a magical black ‘vampire’ cat with green eyes. Karma lives with his owner Georgie at No. 3 Cherry-Blossom Hill or “The Blossoms” as the residents call it. Karma is one of a litter of seven kittens. His siblings are Ludo, Kluedo, Halo, Kojo, and Jenga, who live with their owners, while Yo-Yo still lives with their mother, Domino. Their father, Lucan, hasn’t been seen for some time. Karma and Georgie live next door to Mean Irene, an elderly lady, on one side, who got her name from being mean to cats, and the friendly Wild family on the other side- Priti and Madu, their kids Avery and Wren, and their pets Chase the dog and Shorty the snake. Across the road, Mr. Snitcher (the Curtain-Twitcher) is the Neighbourhood Watch Man who nosily watches everything that goes on, while another near-neighbour is Dr. Delve, a therapist, who never seems to have any clients. Johan, who runs a kebab shop called Kebabylon, also lives nearby. Then there's Ethan the Paper Boy who delivers junk mail and the odd paper to the local houses, and likes to taunt cats and dogs through cat flaps and letterboxes, including Karma... Georgie and Karma have a special bond. Georgie would do anything for him. Nobody knows that Karma- including Georgie and Karma himself- has special magical powers...but this only happens on the night of a full blue moon!
