In this, her ninth book of poetry, Prinnie's subjects range from the age-old practice of "cow-tipping" to fatal dreams, growing ears, and even radioactive elephants. And since the Mexican border is only twenty miles away from Prinnie's home, the strong influence it has exerted on her writing is apparent in the section titled Borders. Living in the Chihuahuan desert has also helped peak her interest in nature. Singing Mice and The Final Fossil are only a few of the subjects introduced in her segment on Science, Nature 101.
