Dopo aver finito 'un libertino dal cuore di ghiaccio', che è il primo della serie, non ho potuto aspettare e ho letto questo volume in inglese. Non è il primo della Kleypas che leggo in lingua originale e devo dire che lo stile è ineccepibile e quei tocchi di francese aggiungono quel non so che in grado di donare una lettura piacevolissima. La trama è inaspettata, diversa dalla solita storia d'amore, ma con punti di contatto con le storie già scritte. I personaggi sono come sempre ben delineati e descritti con dovizia di particolari, soprattutto nella parte psicologica. Non vedo l'ora di leggere il terzo, il cui protagonista maschile è il figlio dei protagonisti di Peccati d'Inverno.
