Michael Rosen è un poeta, romanziere e autore britannico, noto soprattutto per le sue opere destinate a bambini e giovani lettori. Nato in una famiglia ebrea (ricordiamo a proposito Quel giorno, edito nel 2025 da Emme Edizioni) con radici comuniste, ha studiato al Wadham College di Oxford, laureandosi nel 1969. Dopo un tirocinio alla BBC, ha lavorato come presentatore televisivo e sceneggiatore, scrivendo programmi educativi come Sam on Boff's Island.Dal 1974, anno della pubblicazione del suo primo libro Mind Your Own Business, Rosen ha scritto oltre 140 opere, affermandosi come una delle figure di spicco della poesia contemporanea per bambini. Tra i suoi successi spicca We're Going on a Bear Hunt (A caccia dell'orso), pubblicato nel 1989 in collaborazione con Helen Oxenbury, un classico...
