Out Of Time

Researcher Rosemary Torrance gets an unwelcome surprise when she encounters a long-lost manuscript which has turned up in the University Library in the most mysterious of circumstances. Through the ancient lanes and courtyards of Cambridge, Rosemary's life is invaded by a sinister presence, leading her on a quest for the true identity of Elizabethan occultist Richard Bonner, and the nature of his apparent links with the strange worlds of John Dee and William Blake. The consequences are life-changing both for Rosemary and for the woman she is falling in love with. Out of Time challenges our everyday assumptions about human psychology and our relationship with the metaphysical realm. Other published works by Martin Blake include The English Pilgrim, a novel set in 14th century France, and an edition of AElfric's De temporibus anni, an Anglo-Saxon scientific treatise.
