At twenty, Kairy Arrowd has a very simple problem: he needs money. He's a college student living in San Francisco, and his bank account reminds him every day that finding a job is no longer a choice—it's a necessity. When he walks into Murphy's Room hoping to land a job as a bartender, Kairy has no idea that his life is about to change forever. Darius Murphy, the club's handsome and commanding forty-eight-year-old owner, immediately sees something in him that everyone else has overlooked.
