1974

Naomi Alderman è nata nel 1974 ed è cresciuta nella comunità ebraica ortodossa di Hendon, Londra, dove è tornata a vivere dopo aver passato alcuni anni a New York. Con il suo romanzo di esordio Disobbedienza (Nottetempo, 2007) si è aggiudicata il prestigioso Orange Prize for New Writers 2006 e il Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award 2007. Nel 2011 nottetempo ha pubblicato il suo secondo romanzo, Senza toccare il fondo. Nel 2013, nell’ambito del progetto “Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative”, suo mentore è stata Margaret Atwood.
