A Storm is Rising. After his wife left to be with her people until the birth of their heir, The General's desperation and longing drove him far beyond the realms of morality. She quickly learns they have no desire to follow her, much to her own frustration, and finds herself longing for the glitter and power of The General's castle. The longer she spends among her people, the more she realizes their kingdom isn't one she fits into anymore, and, after her pride is injured, she's forced to confront her own power-hungry decisions and pick a side once and for all. Worlds collide in violence and bloodshed as both rulers are forced to choose just how far they're willing to go to preserve the life they've built. But will those they walk on allow the storm to keep rising in their destructive wake?
