Seelsorgefelder

Was ist gemeint, wenn heute von "Seelsorge" die Rede ist? Der Blick auf die einzelnen Seelsorgefelder zeigt ein differenziertes Bild: Der Kontext, in dem Seelsorge stattfindet, gestaltet immer mit, was jeweils unter Seelsorge verstanden wird. Wie ist beispielsweise das Selbstverständnis von Seelsorge im Krankenhaus, in der Notfallseelsorge, am Telefon, in der Schule oder in der Gemeinde? Welche Vorstellungen und Konzeptionen liegen zugrunde? Ist Seelsorge heute "Muttersprache in vielen Zungen"? Und was lässt sich an Verbindendem beschreiben? Die Beiträge dieses Bandes beleuchten aus der Praxis heraus exemplarisch verschiedene Seelsorgefelder. Denn erst von einer solchen Annäherung an ihre Vielgestaltigkeit lässt sich nach einem Verständnis von Seelsorge heute angesichts ihrer Pluralität fragen. [Fields of Pastoral Care. A look at the various fields of pastoral care shows a differentiated picture: the context in which a specific pastoral care takes place has always a determining influence on how it is seen. For instance what is the self-image of pastoral care in hospital, in emergency pastoral care, at the phone, in school or in congregation? What are the underlying conceptions? Pastoral care, is it today a "first language with many tongues"? And what are the unifying factors? The contributions of this volume describe from practical experience exemplarily various fields of pastoral care. Only such an approach to its different forms allows an understanding of pastoral care in all its plurality.
