PreviousseminarswereheldatPrincetonUniversity,Northwestern University,theUniversityofFloridaandtheUniversityofVirginia. Theseminar hasgrownovertheyears,withatotalofseventy-fiveparticipantsin1989. Fol- lowingthesuccessfulformatofpreviousyears,therewerefiveinvitedlectures, deliveredby K. L. Chung,D. Dawson, R. Durrett,N. IkedaandT. Lyons,with theremainderoftimebeingdevotedtostructured,butlessformal,discussionson currentworkandproblems. Severalsmallergroupsalsoheldworkshopsessions onspecifictopicssuchas:mper-processes,diffusionsonfractalsandHarnack inequalities.
