Stolen Shroud

‘Stolen Shroud’ is an ingenious detective story about the theft of the famous Turin Shroud which is then taken by the thieves to Paris. Medieval historian Max Quillan arrives in Paris to give lectures and learns that the sacred cloth has been stolen, days after he took part in a debate about it in Turin. He suspects the owner of the antique business adjoining his apartment block is connected to the theft. His suspicions deepen when his neighbour is found dead in her locked apartment. Aside from the police investigation, he discovers the shocking truth of who commissioned the theft, but when the mysterious buyer is revealed, Max finds that by playing detective he has put himself in danger.
