(Chalfont St. Peter, Buckinghamshire, 1914 - Dublino 2000), romanziere e saggista britannico. Agente dei servizi segreti inglesi, dopo la guerra si dedicò alla carriera letteraria, scrivendo fortunati romanzi di avventura.
