It is a book on wide Area Measurements (WAM) and their applications. The measurements are done using GPS systems and eventually will replace the existing technology. The authors created the field about 20 years ago and with the blackouts occurring in major power systems around the world, it is currently of great technical interest in electrical power engineering.
