The Last Message

Caleb Reed would never miss his mother's birthday dinner without calling. When he fails to arrive and his abandoned car is found behind the Riverside Community Media Center, his younger sister Natalie knows something is terribly wrong. Three days after Caleb disappears, Natalie receives a scheduled text from him. Bring Dad's blue key to Locker 214. Come alone. Trust no one. Police believe Caleb wrote the message before he vanished, but Max discovers that someone altered it afterward. The new instructions may be a warning, a clue, or bait meant to draw Natalie away from everyone protecting her. With Detective Thompson guiding the investigation, Jake, Emily, Amy, Max, Mia, and Chip follow Caleb's trail from a searched depot locker to missing computers and a forgotten camp outside Crescent Valley. Every discovery reveals another secret, while someone continues watching their search and changing Caleb's words. Natalie must decide which clues came from her brother and which were created by someone determined to silence him. As the investigators uncover the truth behind the stolen Bluebird files, they race to answer the question that matters most. Did Caleb leave enough clues to bring them to him in time?
