Triumph

Rome's Eagle Soars East*.* In the aftermath of the slave revolt and hard-fought victory over Spartacus’ relentless army, Lucius Porcianus thinks his days of fighting for the empire behind him. Injured and seemingly no longer needed by Rome, he returns to the quiet embrace of his family’s farm. Yet the blood of a soldier runs deep; restless and missing the companionship of comrades, when destiny knocks at his door, Lucius can’t resist the call to arms. Under the command of the legendary General Pompey the Great, Lucius discovers a new purpose as a centurion tasked with a daring mission: to cleanse the treacherous seas of the Cilician pirates who terrorise merchant vessels and rob Rome of its lifeblood. Alongside the seasoned veteran Numerius “Old Man” Sura, Lucius discovers that strength lies not just in wielding a gladius, but in forging bonds of brotherhood and loyalty. Emboldened by success, Pompey’s ambitions push them eastwards, towards a greater adversary - Mithridates the Great, the king of Pontus and the man behind the massacre of 30,000 Roman lives; a deed which cannot go unpunished. In "Triumph," experience the thrill of ancient warfare as Lucius finds himself not just fighting for Rome, but for the very essence of what it means to be a soldier and a man of principle. It’s a tale that explores the bonds of camaraderie, the thirst for revenge, and the unrelenting pursuit of glory - a journey that will leave you pondering the true cost of triumph.
