Turn and Face the Strange Changes
Michael is a lost soul. His wife recently evicted him from the family home. Rudderless and afraid, he has come to London, where he grew up, staying at a hotel in Bloomsbury, with the aim of finding a permanent place to live. However, the devil is also in London, having arrived with his bizarre entourage. He now calls himself Sebastian and is staying in a plush hotel. While wandering around Fitzrovia with a female companion, he encounters Michael Mercouris in a small, independent bookshop, where he overhears a short conversation between Michael and the guy at the register. The discussion leaves Michael frightened, worried and disorientated. Sebastian realises this and he totally understands the meaning of it all. Michael has retained the memory of an alternative past that has been totally erased. Sebastian steps in to offer advice and guidance, which Michael slowly and reluctantly comes to accept. But after encountering Sebastian and his associates several times over the next few days, he starts to suspect the sinister truth about who Sebastian really is. He also believes that he is brewing up dark and sinister plans to unleash hell around the Kings Cross area.
