Evelyn Slater is launched into space in a Soyuz. It’s claustrophobic, cramped, and she’d had to learn Russian to be part of the crew. Once on the ISS things would be different. Her mission was to use the Scaffy Wagon to hunt down and destroy space debris. She was to be a glorified garbage collector.
